Help - CFX just sits at waiting screen

I've been using CursorFX for a long time (6 months) and CursorXP prior to that for years and years.

One day, I went to change my cursor. I brought up the program, selected a new cursor and it sat at the loading/waiting screen FOREVER. My system parameters are Vista Ult 32 bit, which works great, and I have tried to Uninstalled and reinstalled many times, many ways to get it working again.

First uninstall/reinstall was through Implule, second was through Windows, third uninstall was through TuneUp Utilities with reinstall through Impulse. All with reboots inbetween and even registry cleaner programs also to remove stray entries.

The only thing I can think of is that a cursor I downloaded recently is causing the hang-up. But I haven't tried to use that one yet.

Can anyone help resolve this?

Is it trouble only with that certain cursor or the program in general at this point?

What cursor was it that caused this issue?
